Anyone who has ever been to the Fischleintal valley in Sexten will never forget this special corner of the world.
Here, in the Three Peaks Natural Park in the Sexten Dolomites, nature is not withholding with its wild and enchanting charms! Along the 4.5 km trail between Bad Moos and the hut "Talschlusshütte", you will be spoilt again and again with very special views. Colourful flower meadows at the foot of rugged rock faces. Dense larch forests against the unique backdrop of the Sexten Sundial.
In winter, the Fiscalina Valley is transformed into a magical winter wonderland. The clear, cold air brings a fresh breeze that makes the landscape seem even more alive. It is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquillity of nature and experience the beauty of winter.
And the peaks of the Sexten Dolomites seem close enough to touch. The picturesque Fischleintal valley is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites and is the quickest way to reach the Three Peaks.

What you should know
In the period from 15/12/2024 – 06/04/2025 the Fischleintal valley can be reached with the Fischleintal Shuttle Val Fiscalina (line 440) and the line 446. After this period, the Fischleintal valley can be reached with the public bus line 446.
The Fischleintal Shuttle Val Fiscalina (line 440) starts at the entrance of the village Sexten from the bus stop „Anderter“ and stops at all public stops in Sexten -Moos -Fischleintal -Kreuzbergpass. For visitors from outside Sexten, we recommend the bus line 446. It starts in Dobbiaco and also makes stops at all stations in Sesto.
There is no reservation required for the Fischleintal Shuttle Val Fiscalina (line 440 or 446). Daily tickets are available on the bus and payed by cash only. Use of the shuttle is free of charge for holders of the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass. For holders of the Südtirol Pass (in all versions) the provincial tariff applies.

Yes there is. The Fischleintal valley can be reached via the valley cycle path (no. 102) from Innichen/San Candido.
The following refreshment stops are located along the bike path/cross-country trail in the Fischleintal valley: Fischleinbodenhütte hut, Bistro Bergsteiger, Talschlusshütte hut, Luis Alm.
There are rest stops and bicycle parking areas at regular intervals along the valley cycle path.
The Fischleintal valley can be reached on foot via hiking trail no.102.
The Fischleintal valley can be reached on foot via hiking trail no. 102. From there in the summer the hike can be continued to the Zsigmondyhütte hut, Büllelejochhütte hut and Drei Zinnen Hütte hut.

In the high season, we recommend travelling by public transport (line 440 or 446), on foot or (in summer) by bike. In winter, the Fischlein Valley can also be reached on cross-country skis.
For cars, the parking lot at the cable car station Helmjet in Sexten is recommended.
The public parking spaces in Sexten and at the cable car station Helmjet are chargeable. The parking space at the cable car station Rotwand in Sexten is free of charge.
There are no parking facilities for campers in the Fischleitnal valley.
There are no parking facilities for tour busses. The driver can disembark passengers at the public stop (short stop). However, the stop must remain free for public traffic.
